Storm Information

Our hearts are broken for all of our neighbors in Western North Carolina who were effected by Hurricane Helene.  

We are thankful and blessed that the storm didn't do damage in our campground, Cherokee and the immediate area.    

The roads are all open---but you may see travel advisories when you're mapping your route---give us a call and we can help you find the best route into the area.  

Our area has food, fuel, power and water.  Restaurants are open and Harrah's Cherokee Casino is open.  It looks like fall festivals are still going forward!   Phone towers are working and we have WiFi in the park.   

The Blue Ridge Parkway is severely damaged and is closed right now.   The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is open and they are currently assessing back country trails.
